Publication activity
The idea of the team is to give maximum publicity to the achievements of the project; therefore, all results will be published in scientific journals and conference reports. We plan to publish results in indexed journals with impact factor (IF) that are referenced in SCOPUS and WEB of SCIENCE such as: Ceramic International (IF 3.1.), Journal of the American Ceramic Society (IF 2.8), Journal of the European Ceramic Society (IF 3.8.), Environmental Sciences (IF 1.44) and others. The senior scientists involved in the project team have sufficient experience in publishing in such journals, as evidenced by the attached CVs. The young members of the group will be involved in the preparation of the articles and will be trained at every stage from peer review until the final acceptance for publishing.
This project will significantly stimulate collaboration between many scientists, experts in various fields, so that new, interesting and valuable, jointly published results are expected.
Innovative activity related to protection of intellectual property.
It is envisaged that the scientific results of the project, which are innovative in nature, to be protected by a patent and / or utility model.
Participation in international conferences and public lectures
The group members have extensive experience in participation at conferences and other scientific forums giving talks and oral presentations. This project will reinforce this positive trend. Talks will be presented at selected conferences in Bulgaria and abroad such as conferences held by the European Ceramic Society, which bring together leading researchers in the field of silicates and ceramics. It is planned that part of the group members will attend these conferences within the project, which is directly related to the dissemination of the project results.
All conference papers, posters and presentations will be gratefully acknowledged for the support of the NSF.
It is also important that the project will allow the young members of the group to enhance their public presence in the scientific community and create many new contacts.
Thematic seminars.
Seminars will be periodically organized in both institutions involved in the consortium. It is planned to organize a thematic seminar at least 2 times within the project. Subsequently, the results of the studies will be presented at these seminars. This seminar will be especially helpful to the young members of the group. The Institute of Mineralogy and Crystallography “Acad. Ivan Kostov” will provide laboratories, equipment and a seminar room with Internet for the purpose.
Working meetings.
There will be regular working meetings between the members of the consortium: Institute of Mineralogy and Crystallography “Acad. Ivan Kostov” and Ruse University “Angel Kanchev” branch – Razgrad to discuss scientific issues as well as administrative problems (if they occur during the course of the work). Scientific and administrative issues will be discussed on an ongoing basis within the individual scientific organizations.
Expected outcome of these meetings: Expanding the scientific potential of the team through discussions and reporting on the results so far, discussing and finding methods for obtaining new results, preparing joint publications in scientific journals.
Project materials.
In order to achieve additional visibility of the project and the results achieved with the funding provided, we will prepare brochures of the project for distribution with participation at international conferences.
